Wateford Food Festival - Craicly at The Medieval Museum
Dine beneath 800 years of Waterford history
Step into the medieval chambers of Waterford and take your place at a truly unique table.
Supper, Drinks & Stories of Waterford Food Heritage is an intimate evening set within the only interlinked 13th and 15th century halls of their kind, a setting that has witnessed centuries of gathering, trade and celebration.
Enjoy a fork supper led by butcher and chef Jon Toy, as museum curator Cliona Purcell brings the space to life, sharing the stories of Waterford’s remarkable food heritage.
From wine and coffee to bread, oysters and the rasher, discover how this city helped shape how Ireland eats, trades and celebrates.
Throughout the evening, a collective of chefs, producers and storytellers will guide you through a lively, social experience of flavour, history and conversation.
An evening to gather, taste and connect, in a place where it has all happened before.
