Get ready for a journey back in time with the brand-new Children’s Viking Tour — a fun and immersive experience designed especially for young adventurers! This 30-minute walking tour invites families to explore Ireland’s oldest city through the eyes of its Viking past.
Starting at the Viking House, children are welcomed by a Viking and handed a toy sword to keep. From there, the adventure begins.
Young participants will hear thrilling tales of epic battles, sea voyages, and legendary Viking kings. Along the way, kids will see a stunning 40-foot replica Viking longboat and stop by Reginald’s Tower, built in honor of the city’s Viking roots.
This isn’t just a tour—it’s a chance for children to live history, not just learn it.
The tour runs at 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays in June, and also on Wednesdays during July and August. It’s the perfect length to keep kids engaged without tiring them out. Ideal for families looking to enjoy the outdoors while discovering something truly unique.
