Join curator Rosemary Ryan for a free a free lunchtime tour of the Bishop’s Palace, focusing on highlights of the collection and also the process of conservation in a museum such as this.

Out of Storage – Maritime Objects from our Collection
Join Curator Donnchadh Ó Ceallacháin to see objects from our collection not usually available to view.
This year Waterford Treasures has partnered with the Port of Waterford to create a permanent maritime gallery so we’re highlighting objects from our long history as a Port City.
Get up close and personal with these artefacts as Donnchadh talks about their use, construction and storied histories.

Life in Viking Waterford
Come along to the museum with your little ones to see how our ancestors lived in the special family workshop for heritage week – try on costumes, try your hand at arts and crafts, handle replica objects and sate your curiosity in this hands-on museum experience designed to inspire future historians.

Join our curators Clíona Purcell and Donnchadh Ó Ceallacháin to walk the loop of our defensive city walls on this special Heritage Week walking tour. Learn about the walls and towers that protected the city for centuries and find them hiding in plain sight around modern Waterford.
